Assignment 2 Composition
-The element I photographed was texture.
-I think my photographs and the editing that was done to them turned out very well. I think that the way I set up the composite works very well to keep the viewer's eyes inside the composite.
-My successes were finding 10 or more texture items and editing them to expose the texture more than anything. My recommendations are to take your time and photograph more things than you are assigned so that you can pick the images you like the best for your project.

Understanding Histograms
1.
What is a histogram?
-A histogram shows us the tones of a photo from black on the right to white on the left in a graph form.
2.
What happens to the visual when a histogram is
skewed to the left? Right?
-The visual will change to become lighter when it is skewed to the left and darker when it is skewed to the right.
3.
In most cases, what does a “good” histogram look
like?
-A good histogram will have tones spread out across it and will peak in the middle of it and fade down to the outsides.
4.
Why is a histogram a good tool for
photographers?
-A histogram is a good tool for photographers to use because it gives them more details and information about the image. They also help get the right effect for it.
